Privacy Policy

The Short Version

SolidBooked is me, Vince, working out of Brisbane. To help you fix your business, I need to know a bit about it. Here's the straight answer on what I collect, what I do with it, and what I don't do with it.

The legal bit: SolidBooked is small enough (under $3 million turnover) to be exempt from parts of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). I follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway, because that's how I'd want my own info handled.

What I Collect

When you get in touch or we work together, I'll end up with:

• Your name and contact details (email, phone)
• The basics of your business (name, trade, what you do)
• How your systems and processes currently work
• Whatever else you tell me along the way

What I Do With It

• Reply when you get in touch
• Do the actual work: reviewing and fixing your operations and systems
• Keep you posted on things relevant to you
• Keep the records the tax office says I have to keep

How I Look After It

• Everything lives in Google Workspace, encrypted in transit and at rest. Google stores data on servers that may be located outside Australia
• I'm the only one with access
• It's backed up, so nothing gets lost
• I never sell your info, and I don't pass it on without asking you first

Who Else Sees It

Only the tools we need to get the job done:

• Google Workspace: email, forms, and documents (Google's privacy terms apply)
• MYOB: your name and business details go in when I invoice you (MYOB's privacy terms apply)
• Your own software: if the job means working in your accounting or job management tools, your data stays in them, under their terms

That's it. No data brokers, no advertising networks.

Your Rights

It's your information. You can:

• Ask what I hold about you
• Ask me to fix anything that's wrong
• Ask me to delete it (unless the tax office says I have to keep it)
• Change your mind at any time

Just email me. No forms, no hoops.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies, track you, or run analytics. The Google tool embedded on it (the booking button) may set its own cookies when you use it. The health check quiz and the free tools run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored. Those are covered by Google's privacy policy.

If This Changes

If I change anything that matters, I'll update this page and let existing clients know directly.
